Hors La Loi, since 1988
Founded in 1988 in Boischatel, near Québec City, Hors La Loi became a style icon for a generation thanks to its bold look, unbeatable comfort and infamous masked‑bandit logo. From the ski hills to the streets, the brand left its mark on Quebec’s 90s fashion scene. Today, it's making a strong comeback. Still rebellious. Still relevant.

Hors La Loi's first pieces came to life near Mont-Sainte-Anne. It didn’t take long for the brand to carve out its place on the slopes: detachable-sleeve, fleece jackets, triangular neck warmers, sherpa-lined overshirts. Each piece had that certain something that turned heads. Whether you were an athlete, a die-hard snow sports fan or a weekend skier, everyone wanted a Bandit jacket. In 1997, that popularity was officially recognized with a Griffe d’Or award for Best Sports and Leisurewear Manufacturer, given at a gala celebrating the standout names in Quebec’s fashion industry.Today, the brand returns with the same energy, the same attitude, and pieces that still speak to those who know authenticity when they see it.
